He is a wise ass, and doesn't take anybody's crap. He acts offended by youngsters asking nonsense questions but he secretly loves them. Calix has no interest in a mate, and he likes to be of help to the alphas. He is highly offended by younger brutes who think he can't do much anymore because of his age. Calix secretly loves pupsitting, but he prefers to be asked to do it so he can grumble about it and act like he doesn't like it, even though he really does.

- He isn't really a loner/wasn't a longer - he came from the dura pack
-When he was young and more susceptible to giving in to his hot-headed nature he killed the Alpha's heir - accidentally and was exiled

Calix was born to wolf mates in the Dura pack. His mother died in the struggle to keep her pups alive because the Alpha pair had pups at the same time and as is the way of wolves she was forced to care for the Alpha's pups first. Calix's dad blamed his offspring for her death and soon became with drawn and distant, eventually wandering off one day and never coming back. Calix - when he was a younger brute - was extremely hot headed and caused multiple fights within the pack. He was a strong wolf and in a blind fit of rage he tore out the throat of the then Alpha's Heir. He was exciled and wandered the lands, until the Healer of the solazo pack found the young brute. He took Calix under his wing, taught him everything he knew about plants and helped the younger brute to control his anger. Calix's mentor was not the only one who helped him along on his slow and steady journey to a more peaceful wolf. Calix became close with the healers daughter and they slowly fell in love. They later mated for life and had a few litters of pups. Vicky is gone now and his pups long since left in search of mates.
